It is also used as a nutrient when animals are zinc-deficient, feed additives for animal husbandry, zinc fertilizer (trace element fertilizer) for crops, and man-made fibers. The important materials of electrochemicalbook, the electrolyte used in the production of metal zinc, the mordant in the textile industry, medical emetics, astringents, fungicides, wood and leather preservatives, etc. It is obtained by the action of zinc or zinc oxide with sulfuric acid or by extraction and refining of sphalerite after baking in a reverberatory furnace.

It is also a commonly used fertilizer to supplement crop zinc trace element fertilizers. It can be used as base fertilizer and foliar fertilizer. Zinc is one of the essential nutrient elements for plants. White flower seedlings are prone to appear due to zinc deficiency in maize. When severe zinc deficiency occurs, the growth will stop or even the seedlings will die. Especially for some sandy loam soils or fields with high pH values, zinc sulphate and other zinc fertilizers should be added. The application of zinc fertilizer also has the effect of increasing yield. Fertilization method: take 0.04~0.06 kg of zinc fertilizer, add 1 kg of water, dress 10 kg of seeds, and pile up for 2~3 hours to sow. Before sowing, apply zinc fertilizer to the rhizosphere layer, 0.75 to 1 kg per mu. If the leaf color is light in the seedling stage, zinc fertilizer can be sprayed at a rate of 0.1 kg per mu.
2.Zinc sulfate is a kind of trace element that can be used as feed additive and as a supplement to zinc in feed processing.
Zinc sulfate has good water solubility and high biological potency, and is easily absorbed and utilized by livestock and poultry. Zinc is a component of a variety of enzymes in the body of livestock and poultry, and it plays an extremely important role in the normal growth and development of livestock and poultry skin, bones, reproductive function, development of the taste system, and normal functions of the cardiovascular system. At the same time, it also affects the synthesis of DNA and RNA, and participates in the metabolism of nucleic acids and proteins. The lack of zinc will lead to poor immune function of livestock and poultry, increase susceptibility to diseases, and affect the growth and development of livestock and poultry and feed utilization rate.
