Phytase in animal feed is taken place with the presence of phytase. Phytases (myo-inositol hexaphosphate phospho-rhydrolase) is a type of phosphatase enzyme that specifically acts on phytate, breaking it down to release phosphorus in a form available to absorb by the animal.
