What is Oxyfluorfen?

Oxyfluorfen is a fluorine-containing phenyl ether herbicide successfully developed by Rohm and Haas Company in 1975. Its herbicidal activity is 5-10 times higher than that of the corresponding herbicide, and 16.32 times that of Cayfen. Uses

1.Selective pre-emergence or post-emergence herbicide. Oxyfluorfen is a contact herbicide. It exerts its herbicidal activity in the presence of light. It enters the plant body mainly through the coleoptile and mesocotyl, and is less absorbed by the roots, and a very small amount is transported upwards through the roots into the leaves.

2.For cotton, shallots, peanuts, soybeans, sugar beets, fruit trees and vegetable fields before and after the emergence of barnyardgrass, sesbania, bromegrass, setaria, datura, creeping grass, ragweed, thorn , Abutilon, Mustard menu cotyledons and broadleaf weeds. It is very resistant to leaching. It can be used as an emulsifiable concentrate.

3.It can prevent monocot and broadleaf weeds in transplanted rice, soybeans, corn, cotton, peanuts, sugarcane, vineyards, orchards, vegetable fields and forest nurseries. Upland rice application can be mixed with butachlor; for soybean, peanut, cotton field, etc., it can be mixed with alachlor, trifluralin, etc.; for orchard, etc., it can be mixed with paraquat and glyphosate .
