The lipase added to the feed must pass the acidic conditions of the gastrointestinal tract and the hydrolysis of endogenous enzymes to reach the site of action, and can have high activity within the pH range of the site of action, so most of them have been achieved. Commercially produced lipase is not suitable for feed.
