What is Bulk Arginine Powder?

An amino acid is bulk arginine powder. It is used by the enzyme bulk arginine powder to make urea and ornithine and by the enzyme nitric oxide synthase (NOS) to make nitric oxide (NO). This process also gets rid of excess ammonia.

Bulk arginine powder is considered a conditionally essential amino acid because the body cannot always make enough of it to compensate for an increase in arginase. This means that you must consume some arginine in certain circumstances. Fortunately, arginine is abundant in nuts, seeds, dairy, and meat, particularly white meat.

Although bulk l arginine powder is promoted as a supplement for athletic performance, its effects on NO production in healthy adults are unreliable. This might be because of arginine having unfortunate bioavailability. The kidneys make bulk powders arginine from the amino acid citrulline, which is more bioavailable. In terms of raising arginine levels in the blood, oral citrulline performs better than oral arginine.

Bulk Arginine Powder Uses

1 Effects of bulk arginine powder, NO and polyamines on the growth and development of placenta and fetus

Arginine is a common substrate of NOS and ornithine decarboxylase, which can produce NO and polyamines, respectively (Wu et al., 1998). Therefore arginine may be a limiting amino acid affecting fetal growth and development. Studies have found that the content of bulk l arginine powder and ornithine in the allantoic fluid of sows is about 40 days after gestation, and the activity and concentration of NO and polyamine synthases also reach the maximum (Wu et al., 2005). Undernutrition or overnutrition of sows will affect the content of arginine in the sows, and also reduce the synthesis of NO and polyamines in the placenta (Wu et al., 1998).

2 The endogenous bulk powders arginine of suckling piglets cannot meet the needs of their optimal growth

Insufficient arginine will not only affect the growth and development of the fetus, but also affect the growth of newborn piglets. Bulk l arginine powder is an essential amino acid for suckling piglets, and insufficient supply of bulk l arginine powder in breast milk is an important factor limiting the maximum growth of neonatal piglets (Wu et al., 2000). The experimental data of artificially fed piglets shows that the growth potential of piglets after birth is at least 400g/d (from birth to 21 days of age), while that of suckling piglets is only 230g/d. Compared with newborn piglets, the synthesis of bulk arginine powder and citrulline in the small intestine of 7-day-old suckling piglets decreased by 70%-73%, and further decreased at 14-21d. Therefore, endogenous arginine synthesis in piglets gradually decreases during lactation.

3 Effects of bulk powders arginine on reproductive performance of sows

Domestic and foreign literature reports that the effects of arginine on the nutrition and physiology of sows are mainly focused on improving the reproductive performance of sows. Laspiur et al. (2001) studied the effects of dietary bulk arginine powder on the performance of sows during lactation under heat stress conditions. The results showed that adding 1.34% bulk l arginine powder to the diet could improve the feed utilization efficiency of sows, but had no significant effect on the performance of suckling piglets. Ramaekers et al. (2006) added 25g/d bulk powders arginine to the diet of primiparous and multiparous sows during the 14-28d of gestation, which increased the average litter size (1.25 head/litter and 1.18 head/litter, respectively). litter) and the number of piglets born alive (increased by 1.08 head/litter and 0.93 head/litter, respectively).
