Arginine Powder Bulk Uses
In this 10-week feeding trial, 120 crossbred pigs (Landrace, Yorkshire, Duroc) with an average initial body weight (BW) of 53.80 1.86 kg were used for the study. In a randomized complete block design, the pigs were assigned at random to one of three dietary treatments based on their BW and sex (two gilts and three barrows). There were five pigs per pen and eight replicates per treatment.
Treatments for diet included:
CON (the basic diet);
CON + 0.5 g/kg arginine powder bulk; LA0.5
LA1.0 (CON plus 1.0 g/kg pure arginine)
Impact on meat quality pigs
The specialists showed that pure arginine didn’t influence pig development execution, supplement absorbability, or gas emanation. However, muscle marbling score increased linearly (P 0.05) with dietary bulk arginine supplementation, while cooking loss and drip loss of pork muscle decreased linearly (P 0.05). The current study’s findings show that finishing pigs receiving 1.0 g/kg arginine powder bulk supplementation improved meat quality without significantly affecting growth performance.
