What is Phellodendron Amurense Bark Extract?

Phellodendron bark extract (phellodendron barkextract) is extracted from the dry bark of the Rutaceae plant Phellodendron bark or Phellodendron bark. The former is commonly called “Sichuan Phellodendron”, and the latter is commonly called “Guan Phellodendron”. After peeling off the bark, remove the rough bark and dry it in the sun. Phellodendron bark extract is also known as Cortex Phellodendron, Yuanbai, Berberis wood, and Berberis bark, and its main component is berberine. 

Used as a bittering agent. Phellodendron amurense extract has anti-microbial and protozoa, antihypertensive, anti-adrenaline-like effects, relaxes vascular smooth muscle, excites the uterus, bladder, bronchus, gastrointestinal tract, choleretic and excites the cerebral cortex.

1. Antibacterial.
